- Abstract:
- We will appoint ECR Principal Investigator(s) (PIs) through an open and transparent call, who will be charged with leading the Programme and developing activities and / or workshops here at Cranfield, supported by our School Research director. We seek to develop enduring capacity, a legacy that will grow and sustain beyond the funding period and provide new insights and advice on developing cross disciplinary activities to underpin environmental solutions in a changing world; collaborating with our other Schools here at Cranfield, our UKRI facing research partners and our broad national and international partnership network. ECRs will be selected from a competitive and transparent application process, with a call launched in early November to staff across SWEE, where the majority of NERC facing research is focussed. This will be overseen by the SWEE Executive, who will also undertake due diligence in equity of opportunity (see below).
