- Abstract:
- The project aims to review the existing and emerging unconventional oil and gas (academic) research landscape, to identify relevant opportunities for further research and to communicate these suitably to inform policy making. The intern will work with the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) Science Team to ensure that policy makers remain connected with the highest-quality and most relevant scientific research in the area of unconventional oil and gas. This project will involve a range of activities, identified and developed in collaboration with both policy and evidence specialists at BEIS, relevant industries and academia. These include providing scientific advice to inform unconventional oil and gas policy development across and outside Whitehall.
