Abstract:
The broad aim of the course is to meet the challenges and changing needs of the oceanographic community by offering a course that not only illuminates the fundamental principles of physical marine science but also draws upon our internationally acknowledged research strengths in dynamical oceanography to continually redirect the course towards issues of current interest and importance, such as the impact of climate change on global and local (e.g. coastal) scales. This grant supports four full studentships for three years.
