Abstract:
The proposed project will investigate cultural adaptation to desert conditions through a reconstruction of the changing agricultural systems of the Libyan Sahara over the past 2,500 years based on an analysis of archaeobotanical data from Old Germa, a major ongoing archaeological investigation.
